1961 Lotus Elite Series 11 RHD UK car Reg. no. OO 6249 Chassis no.Eb.147 1564 Engine no. FWE 9568. Bristol body no.1564 Finished in Grand Prix White with red interior trim this matching numbers example has had just one owner since the late 1960,s to date and is complete less the bumpers which are currently available from specialists.

It has been fitted with a Ford Crossflow engine which runs , but still retains the original matching number Coventry Climax engine which is dismantled and appears complete inc. carbs and ancillaries less the camshaft. The car has excellent panel fit with an excellent bodyshell with minimal cracking or crazing and an original interior making it an easy restoration for a keen enthusiast given that these cars are extremely hard to find to restore and as a one owner car for nearly 50 years it is an exciting project to undertake.
