1961 Maserati 3500 GT

1961 Maserati 3500 GT Series 1a Coupe Left Hand Drive with aluminium Superleggera coachwork by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan.

This example is fitted with a Manual 5 Speed gearbox,Triple Weber carbs.and Borrani chrome wires. Finished in Midnight Blue with Tan Hide and beige carpets piped tan.It has formed part of a significant private collection for 20 years.The bodywork and paintwork is superb as is the chrome and brightwork, the leather interior is in beautiful original condition with a lovely patina, the carpets have been replaced in the cabin and the boot and the correct diamond pattern lining has been replaced in the boot and under the bonnet.

The car drives tightly with excellent oil pressure and a smooth transmission having covered only 70,000 Kms. Currently UK registered and was previously reg. in the USA with reg. docs. for both countries and a Certificato of Origine from Maserati Modena confirming authenticity of chassis no. AM 101 1556.

She has recently been serviced and tuned by Ferrari/Maserati Specialists R.and D. Automotive . A superb example of the this fast appreciating model of which only 2226 examples were produced between 1957 and 1964.
