2000 McLaren MP4/15 Showcar

The MP4/15 was without doubt the fastest car of the 2000 season. Designed by Adrian Newey, the aerodynamics were even more advanced than the previous year,s excellent MP4/14, and the Mercedes V10 engine remained the most powerful on the grid making it possible for no less than 7 wins to be recorded during the 2000 season by both David and Mika Hakkinen in the MP4/15 chassis.

It is extremely rare to have the oppurtunity to acquire any McLaren F1 car,even more so the actual Mclaren Showcar given to David Coulthard by the factory post the 2000 season as this car was.It has always remained David,s property and until recently it has been on display in David,s museum .Unlike most showcars, having been built by the manufacturer for the driver it is virtually indistinguishable from the real car including such items as brake discs,callipers,carbon suspension and even down to a correct steering wheel with all switchgear and a McLaren chassis plate.Currently in as new condition having just been the subject of a check over by the Mclaren factory post display at the Museum and is supplied complete with tool kit and a personal note from David to the new owner. £SOLD PLEASE NOTE THIS CAR IS NON FUNCTIONING AND FOR DISPLAY USE ONLY.
