Ferrari F48 Koenig 3.4 V8 Twin Turbo RHD Finished in Giallo Fly Yellow with Nero hide interior with yellow stitching and black carpets piped yellow. 2 owners from new with only 39,000 miles with FSH.
Koenig-Specials founded by Willy Koenig who started out racing Ferrari road cars and with the permission of Enzo Ferrari further developed the cars to be successful in racing went on to be one of the industry leaders in tuning and developing the ultimate sports car for road use.
This Koenig F48 is 1 of only 2 RHD cars built by Koenig starting with a 348 TS and redeveloping the entire car at a cost of £150,000 in 1994 including major body, engine and running gear improvements to create a car which produces 520BHP, essentially this is a simplified F40 with more power.
The car which was built using a 1990 delivery miles 348 TS and was imported by JCT Newcastle the Ferrari main dealer in 1994 and supplied to Douglas Hall (son of Sir John Hall, owner of Newcastle UTD) to add to his extensive car collection which included an F40 some of which were stored at JCT.
The car was then sold to the second owner in 1997 with 3000 miles on the clock and since then it has had further development and improvements carried out by Ferrari Specialists R&D Automotive, Manchester. In particular the car has the worlds first carbon/ceramic hybrid brake installation (carbon ceramic fronts, steel rears). This was the first road going installation of Surface Transforms PLC 3-D continuous carbon ceramic brakes.
The car comes complete with a large history file including MOT file, invoice file and documentation regarding all development work and modifications which have been carried out, plus a fitted cover and full tool kit and handbooks, dealer books and service book.
The condition is exceptional in all respects and it is a unique opportunity to acquire a car with more power than an F40 for a fraction of the price.
