This example is one of only three 6C 2500 SS,s .. delivered to the USA to Frank Griswold the Alfa dealer/importer. The car was discovered in the late 1990’s by a French Bugatti collector in complete original and unrestored condition, who then commissioned a ground up restoration to concours standard over a 3 year period to the near perfect condition it is in today. Later it was in the Old Time Museum in Kropfl Austria and has formed part of a significant private collection in the UK since 2005.
