1965 Gerhardt Ford Indy Car. Chassis Number 04. This car entered in the 1966 Indianapolis 500 driven by Carl Williams and ran 16th and qualified at 159.645 mph. Other participants included Graham Hill, Jim Clark, Jackie Stewart, Bobby Unser, Al Unser, Parnelli Jones, Mario Andretti, and Dan Gurney to name just a few of the hallowed drivers.
The car is complete with original four cam Ford fuel-injected V8 and twin speed box and all running gear. It will require a complete sympathetic restoration, but what an opportunity to obtain a wonderful piece of Indianapolis history. (Colour video of race available).
