1950 Riley RMB 2.5 Drophead Coupe RHD Manual with elegant unique bespoke coachwork with a disappearing hood.
Finished in Signal Red with Beige Hide interior and Wilton carpets piped beige with matching hood and tonneau. This unique example was constructed to the architect owners individual design in the early 90,s to the highest professional standards including a new ash frame , bespoke body and complete ground up rebuild including chassis ,all running gear , uprated engine and axle, electrics, instrumentation and interior including leather and woodwork with no expense spared costing close to £100,000 to construct with the original drawings, photographic history and a huge detailed correspondence and invoice file from 1985 to date having covered just 6300 miles from completion in 1998 the majority of the work having being carried out by specialists Hightone Restorations in Oxfordshire and and G. Grace and Son Herts.
The overall lines of the 2 seater Drophead body with occasional rear bench seat are superb and the build quality is equal to Rolls/Bentley. Complete with Handbook and all tools plus a bespoke walnut refreshment/drinks cabinet fitted in boot to enjoy a tipple at Goodwood.
